AOS Orwell, a foremost leading indigenous Oilfield Servicing company in Nigeria, has announced this year’s edition of its tertiary scholarship scheme. This aim of this scheme is to offer grants to Engineering students of the Rivers State University.

This year’s scholarship scheme is in partnership with Dragnet Solutions; a dynamic technology firm who will be responsible for administering the application process i.e. screening of candidates and organize a Computer Based test (CBT) for successful students.

The scholarship was born out of the company’s commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to its host communities in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) goals that focuses on education which aims to address inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

To be eligible to partake in this scheme, Applicants:

• Must be a Nigerian citizen
• Must be a student of the Rivers State University
• Must be studying Engineering
• Must currently be in their second year of full-time study (2018/2019 admission year)
• Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system
• Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship (National or International)
